With more than 40 years of experience in the beauty industry, Pat Boyd has built a career rooted in skill, passion, and purpose. What began as a love for braiding evolved into a lifelong mission — empowering youth, adults, and underserved communities through hands-on education, mentorship, and entrepreneurship development.
Through Shear Creations Workforce Development Academy, Pat has trained countless students in the art of braiding while teaching them something far greater: confidence, professionalism, and the belief that their talent can become a sustainable career. Her commitment to community, paired with decades of industry expertise, is the foundation on which Braidology and every program at Shear Creations is built.
